Take Back Day

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a program of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) held twice a year to collect unwanted and unneeded medications. Collecting these medications prevents them from falling into the wrong hands and helps to decrease drug-related violence. 

HCSO hosts Take Back Day events around Hennepin County at rotating locations. 

Fall Take Back Day

You can drop off unused prescription drugs with us at events like Drug Take Back Day. The fall Take Back Day event is scheduled for 10 am - 2 pm Oct. 26, 2024, at the locations below:

• Walgreens Robbinsdale, 4100 W. Broadway Ave., Robbinsdale, MN 55422
• Walgreens St. Louis Park, 7200 Cedar Lake Rd. S., St. Louis Park, MN 55426
